Introduction

Straits Baptist Community strongly believes that missions work is an important part of the church. SBC organize yearly short term missions trip, both locally as well as overseas, to provide opportunities for members to be exposed to the work outside of the church.

As part of the church’s missions involvement, SBC also provide support to missions organizations, churches, seminaries as well as individuals called to full-time on field work. Being a denomination based church, our partnership are mainly associated with the Baptist work as well as inter-denomination partners, locally as well as overseas.
Straits Baptist Community commits 15% of our tithes and general offering to missions. Members are welcome to provide designated missions offering in addition to their tithes. By God’s grace, He has always provided sufficiently to our missions endeavors.
